Important: The Heartcode® BLS Skills Session covers only the BLS Skills. Prior to the skills session, email your AHA Heartcode® BLS online course completion certificate. We do not accept certificates from any organization other than the AHA.

Duration: 1-2 hours for the skills only; time varies depending on the experience of the student

Audience: Any person wishing to perform the Heartcode BLS Skills from the American Heart Association including healthcare workers.

Topics Covered: Your Heartcode® BLS Skills Session will include high-quality CPR for adults, children, & infants, the AHA chain of survival, important early use of the AED, ventilations using a barrier device (postponed due to COVID), and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) in adults and infants. Follows the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.

Location: The following skills session ONLY dates are at Health Street; located at 1710 S Dairy Ashford Rd #207 in Houston, TX 77077.  

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "same-day" certification upon successful completion.
