Topics Covered: Improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills.
Pre-Course Requirements: Once you have registered for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the information and link for the required Pre-Course Self Assessment and Pre-Course Work.
BLS Add On: Once you select a date for the PALS course, you can add BLS on as an option for $45 extra on the following page.
This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "same-day" certification upon successful completion. Is your CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification close to expiring too? Renew your BLS certificate with ACLS to save $10! Simply check-mark "Yes (add $45)" to add on to your PALS course.
You will be given a training pocket mask in the classroom but, it's always a good idea to keep one with you to use in a real emergency.
