This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "Same Day" certification upon successful completion.

Price: $300

Duration: 5-6 hours for the instructor course & 4-5 hours for the instructor monitoring session

Audience: Any person wishing to teach CPR courses from the American Heart Association, including healthcare providers.  

Additional Information: It is very important to review our instructor packet in its entirety before registering for the course. We offer two different instructor courses: CPR Basic Life Support Instructor (most instructors choose to be a BLS Instructor) -or- Heartsaver CPR AED First Aid Instructor. To view our BLS instructor packet, please click here: CPR Basic Life Support Instructor Packet. It is a requirement to be currently certified with a BLS Provider certification as a BLS Instructor. Audience: Non-healthcare professionals, including day care workers, fitness instructors, teachers, etc. Healthcare professionals should consider the "CPR Basic Life Support (BLS)" course.

Topics: Covers first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, adult CPR, AED use, opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, and optional modules in child CPR AED & infant CPR.

Certification Steps:

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "same-day" certification upon successful completion.                     

 

Are you with a company that has a contract with Health Street to complete your class? If this is the case, you cannot do the online course. If you register for the online course, please note that you cannot be reimbursed and you will pay out-of-pocket for it. You will need to come to Health Street to complete the 100% in-person course instead. To register for the in-person course, please call your employer.

Duration: 7-8 hours for the instructor course & 8-9 hours for the instructor monitoring session

Audience: Any advanced healthcare provider (you must have first-hand experience with pharmacology, airway management, cardiac arrest, and EKGs as a health or allied health professional where ACLS is utilized on a daily basis). An advanced healthcare provider would be defined as a paramedic, RN, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, etc.

The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts. Follows the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.
